Matt Katz, Managing Partner and Head of Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods was recently quoted in WWD on retail’s shift to e-commerce and why a focus on customer experience is more important now than ever.
Matt notes that investing in digital is a major component of thriving during the pandemic stating, “It’s incredibly helpful for everyone to be touting digital commerce.” He goes on to explain the importance of providing customers with a superior shopping experience regardless of purchase channel, “At the end of the day, seamless interaction with consumers is going to win. Where the transaction takes place is less important to me than how the full experience is digested as a consumer.”
