Kim notes the boost in contactless technology adoption at the precipice of the pandemic, “penetration had been slow and steady but hit its stride in March and April of 2020…”

He goes on to predict that the technology will continue to grow in popularity among retailers, providers, and consumers alike even after the pandemic ends. “The genie is out of the bottle,” he said.
