Walmart is ramping up its beauty game to compete with other big names in the industry. Vice President Chris Ventry was quoted in BoF article “Can Walmart Become a Major Beauty Player?” looking at how the big-box retailer is becoming a destination for some of the newest names in beauty and competing with the likes of Target, Ulta, and more.
Chris reflects how Walmart is beginning to compete with higher-end stores telling BoF, “When we think about … being on the cutting edge [in] big box, you think of Target over Walmart.”
