View All Posts

Supply chain disruptions and earlier-than-ever deals defined this year’s Black Friday. Vice President Chris Ventry was quoted in Forbes article, “Black Friday 2021: Consumers Ready To Shop And Spend” about how retailers navigated challenges like product scarcity, shipping delays, and more this season.

Chris notes how deals started even earlier this Black Friday – continuing trends of previous years. “What used to be Halloween and Veteran’s Day sales are being called Black Friday-style sales, he told Forbes”

He continued on to explain what strategies he has seen retailers put in place to mitigate market challenges, “Brands and retailers have been up front with consumers about potential product delay and lack of goods. Some have even sent letters to consumers notifying that if you see something you like, and it is in your size, you should purchase now or risk having that product sold out.”
